《姐姐》是一部以“心灵的洗礼和觉醒”为主题的电影，于2004年开始拍摄。影片讲述了一个在富足家境中长大的城市小孩，在随父亲乡下探亲的过程中，认识了隔壁邻居沉默寡言“姐姐”，从开始调皮捉弄她，到逐渐了解她被她所生活的贫困环境所震惊，内心接受的一场洗礼，孩童善良的本质逐渐展现。影片运用了大量的长镜头，是一部很抒情的作品，在马来西亚、新加坡、泰国等国家先后上映，获得了广泛好评。也是在这部作品中，奠定了谢家良导演作品的温情主题，并在以后的作品中延续下去。。影片记录了两个在大学时代相识，相恋十年，目前同居在一起的一对恋人面对婚姻的和孩子所产生的迷茫，及他们现实中所经历的一切。。Answering Fire - In a suspected terrorist attack on a London hotel a government minister is killed.
