He was chosen to be destined f...。故事开始于四百多年前的日本战国时代。阳炎（三石琴乃 配音）将自己的儿子烈火（冈野浩介 配音）传送到了现代，和烈火一起穿越时空的还有他同父异母的哥哥红丽（置鲇龙太郎 配音）。之后，遭到了诅咒的阳炎就一直在寻找自己的孩子。如今的烈火是一名十六岁的高中生，唯一与众不同的地方就是他能从手心处燃起火焰而不被灼伤。 一次偶然中，烈火邂逅了名为佐古下柳（增田由纪 配音）的女孩，柳和烈火一样异于常人，她拥有能够治愈伤口的超能力。就这样，烈火成为了对柳忠心耿耿的忍者，这让一直默默喜欢着烈火的雾泽风子（平松晶子 配音）感到十分不快，风子内心的黑暗情绪让她成为了影法师的傀儡，站到了烈火的对立面。。讲述了三个性格与志趣迥然的青年因神秘生物“碰碰”的力量而彼此心意相通，然而随着“碰碰”的另一个隐藏能力逐渐被揭晓，彼此间的友谊也变得摇摇欲坠的故事。。
