裴致远在美国留学归来后，来到其父亲投资经营的幼儿园邂逅了女教师凌楚楚，并一见钟情地爱上她。几经周折，裴致远终于如愿以尝进入幼儿园，成为凌楚楚同事。。故事发生在明嘉靖年间。平安镖局遭受了多年不遇的“走麦城”，押镖的一干人马在关外遭番兵掳劫，王兆兴和谷平安觉得事情蹊跷，决定查明真相。在好友高翔协助下，终于查明劫镖的是镇守边关的腾飞将军，这期间腾飞差人捕获了王兆兴，并嫁祸于他，谷平安联络众捕头，决定在行刑之日劫法场。不料行刑当日寡不敌众，谷平安等人被腾飞的军队制服。围观的老百姓早就对欺压百姓的腾飞军队恨之入骨，奋起与军队抗衡，众人合力将腾飞就地正法。死后的腾飞被朝廷追封，谷平安心中不服，但王兆兴的一番话让她顿然醒悟……。Set in the 1930's, this gangster spoof tells the comic tale of a Johnny Kelly (Michael Keaton) who is forced into a life of crime in order to pay for his ailing mother's medical treatment.
