Hakata gurentai is his first feature and last 8mm film. Haven't watched it yet myself, but from the looks of it, this is very much reminescent of eighties and nineties v-cinema, sort of like early Miike (only made in 1978). There is considerably more dialogue than in his earlier films, but it doesn't seem too complicated plotw...。影片讲述了“九一八事变”后，以狙击手任天行（张钧涵饰）为代表的抗日志士在东三省沦陷之后，与凶残日寇展开殊死对决的枪战故事。任天行带领的抗日志愿军在一次伏击日军的夜战中全部阵亡，任天行重伤濒死被土匪救起，从此心灰意冷地过起了土匪的生活，直到伪装潜入山寨的白鸽（阚昕饰）晓以民族大义将其唤醒。为救国救己，任天行与白鸽等人组成的抗日小分队合作，欲刺杀日军病毒专家，可行动之际计划被日军发现，众人该如何逃过重重追捕？任天行又为何亲手为自己立下墓碑？在任天行等人的秘密调查中，日军关于用村民做活体实验的巨大阴谋渐渐显露于世。正在此时，任天行收到了一封来自日本狙击手的“战书”，虎牙山硝烟四起，中日顶级狙击手将决一死战，众人的命运又将如何？。
