Comedy about the proverbial genie who comes out of a bottle (a table lamp in this instance) to serve his new master. The only problem is that instead of helping his master, the genie (Burl Ives) tends to get his master (Tony Randall) into more predicaments than he gets him out of.。江城在老家的古镇上，经营着祖上传承下来的一间“无名当铺”，以及一块随身佩戴的八卦护身铜镜，据说此镜能够勾连过去与现实，虚实相间，从而窥探人心。因此江城的有声读物开始了，种种光怪陆离的故事徐徐展开.....。
