Black Earth Rising is a long form thriller which, through the prism of a black Anglo-American family, examines the West’s relationship with contemporary Africa by exploring issues of justice, guilt, and self-determination.。故事发生在1990年，东北一座人口两万人的小城市——双鱼河，双鱼河恶性事件频发，而这些案件的线索竟皆与暖瓶厂保卫科职工商全亮（范伟饰）有着千丝万缕的关联，黄金动人心，在老妖山黄金传说浮出水面之际，众黑恶势力先后“入局”寻金，矛盾冲突不断升级，当贪念逐渐占据“上风”，人性深林又会展现怎样的众生相？重重疑团，云山雾罩……。
