When he gets into trouble with his supplier, his sister is kidnapped and he is forced to rely on both his sleight of hand and brilliant mind to save her。根据Alfred Wetzler的著作《但丁没看见》改编，讲述两个年轻的斯洛伐克犹太人逃离奥斯威辛集中营，并撰写了关于死亡营工作方式的详细报告。奥斯维辛一共有12人成功逃脱，其中有两人是斯洛伐克人。。
