His endless struggle to put an end to these atrocities and denounce the impuni...。全片由《麻雀趣事》、《有口难言》、《圆谎记》三个独立故事构成：《麻雀趣事》通过上海顾客与广东伙计对话，探讨麻将牌的历史起源；《有口难言》聚焦民国初年女牙医与助手离奇死亡案件，受害者口中发现半截舌头；《圆谎记》描写元朗乡绅马大哈在英女皇访港期间因谎言陷入困境。。故事发生在八丈岛附近的一座孤岛兵队岛上。岛上一家名为“自然之岛”的酒店，某天将前游泳选手白峰凉（仲间由纪惠饰）、前法官磐村兵库（渡濑恒彦饰），前国会议员门殿宣明（津川雅彦饰）、急救医生神波利香（余贵美子饰）、前雇佣兵光石动（柳叶敏郎饰）、前女演员星空绫子（大地真央饰）、推理作家五明卓（向井理饰）、前刑警久间部坚吉（国村隼饰）等八人邀请到了这里。可是酒店的主人并没有出现，迎接众人的只有管理员翠川信夫（桥爪功饰）及其夫人恒美（藤真利子饰）。正当众人忐忑不安之际，突然一个声音开始公布他们的罪行，随后杀人事件悄然发生…… 该剧改编自英国著名推理作家阿加莎·克里斯蒂的同名小说。。
