Horizon has gathered the world's leading experts on Mars and asked them: where would they go, if they got the chance - and what would they need to surviv...。講述三個太空人升空後與太空總署失去聯絡，若干時間後太空船返回地球，援救隊卻發現太空船內只得一個太空人Carroon生還，原來他已被外星生物佔用了肉體，更要把地球毁滅。。一次偶然中，工人黄阿满（毛永明饰）目击了一场犯罪活动的发生，受到了惊吓的他愣在原地，并没有第一时间出来追捕犯罪分子，导致了犯罪分子的脱逃，这让阿满感到了很深的负罪感，没有逮到罪犯，阿满将被罪犯伤害的作家钟学坚送往了医院。回家后，阿满将这件事情说给了妻子徐耘珍（高英饰）听，哪知道妻子非但没有夸奖丈夫的助人为乐，还让他少管闲事，不要惹祸上身。 在公安人员章一兵的鼓励之下，阿满决定参加治安联防队。17岁的少女杜鹃（张玲饰）是街头流莺，且和黑帮头头有着密切的交往。得知这一切的阿满决定将这个女孩从失足犯罪的边缘拯救回来。。
