In the end, she falls in love... but is the robot or the Dr. Mr. Right?。现代姑娘连蔓儿乱入古代农村，遇见了神秘的年轻男子沈诺，二人携手斗极品亲戚，种田经营，发家致富，也渐渐相知相爱。最终，连蔓儿得知了沈诺的真实身份，面对巨大的挑战，二人的感情将何去何从…… 该剧改编自弱颜的小说《重生小地主》。。俄罗斯版《大事件》由瑞典导演安德斯·班克（Anders Banke）执导，班克在莫斯科的电影学院念书，并且能够讲一口流利的俄语，他曾经导演《致命吸血鬼》，正是这部电影中透出的才华让俄罗斯制片公司看中，选择其拍摄《大事件》，这也是俄罗斯第一次翻拍香港电影。从公布的剧照、预告片来看，整部电影营造的警匪对抗的紧张气氛更为浓厚，另有不少爆炸戏份。。
