《女人有话说》是真实生活探访体验观察真人秀，节目通过奚梦瑶、谢依霖两位“体验者”，与“观察团”一起从两个不同角度，带领观众走进5位女嘉宾的真实生活，分享人生经历和感悟，引导人们积极思考，体会生活的无限种可能性。。本片延续《我们的故事》系列，第三部以1979年为开端，横跨十多年至1980年代末的流金岁月。讲述林家第二代和邻居们一同从甘榜搬入政府组屋后的故事，经历新加坡环境、政策和民生的大变迁。 在姐姐过世后，阿坤（李国煌饰）改过自新，成为一名德士司机，和年轻一代的侄子顺发因为代沟常常发生冲突。80年代新加坡正实施多项改革政策，阿坤常常对政府的诸多政策感到不满，像是华文学校被迫关闭、新加坡精英制度等，结果决定和政府“唱反调”，成立反对党。众人的故事会如何收场？。Pierce Mundy works at his parents' South Central dry cleaners with no prospects for the future and his childhood buddies are in prison or dead.
