在东洋第一的娱乐街·歌舞伎町经营着没有招牌的杂货店的李（森山未来饰），接二连三收到了各种各样的事件。事件中有着各种各样动机的人们蠢蠢欲动，必须一边解读背景一边寻找起因。因为如果不这样做，纠纷就会无谓地扩大，根本无法解决。落点是从经验和直觉中导出的。年轻时的李，有过因为判断失误而失去同居恋人的经验…。It's amazing to have finally seen this lost film. Poor Mark Burns died this year without ever having seen the finished film! Why was it lost? It's quite good but I can understand that even if this film had a normal release in cinemas it would not have been a hit. It's too sad and tragic. The performances are great, tho.
