《云南味道》一共分10个篇章介绍云南美食，从开篇的《家宴春色》、《人间清欢》到充满浓浓怀旧乡愁的《岁月怀想》和《异乡别恋》，每个篇章看似毫无联系，但其中内核紧扣。与传统的美食节目不同，《云南味道》在地域上采取了大范围的跳动，并且不以地域和菜品分类进行划分，反而每集都有自己的主人公：建水摘草芽的郑红伟兄弟；大理宾川鸡足山脚下打香椿的杨继梅一家；以及至今还完整保留制作怒江“漆油煮鸡”传统纯手工做法的怒族小伙子王敬华……节目对食物朴素细腻的描述，对人和食材关系的微妙理解，也使得本片不仅仅是一部表现美食的纪录片。以往对云南美食看似没有文化的误读，将在节目中改变，云南美食的底蕴，质朴简单，就在一块块大理鹤庆秘制的吹肝里，就在一罐罐巍山殷记的咸菜里。。Astronomer Bill Whitley is so preoccupied with the new comet he's discovered that his time at the observatory sometimes comes at the expense of his beautiful wife, Vicky.
