该剧讲述了刑警高志远意外卷入犯罪分子的阴谋，被上级秘密安排加入专案组，潜入嫌疑人吴宏凯的公司搜集证据、揭开了真相，最后成功将贩毒分子付云峰和吴宏凯绳之以法的故事。。Set against the world of a major drug cartel bust, the series follows two low-level cops who have spent far too much time in a car together| two criminals who are largely kept in the dark| two dispatch workers who haven't really clicked| and two Mexican tunnelers who are in way too small a space considering they've only just met.。本剧剧情分为三部分依序为：帝骑完结编、双骑初始之夜、最后才为帝骑跟双骑联手打击怪人的电影大战2010。 其中，帝骑完结编的主笔编剧为米村正二，写作风格结构松散、逻辑跳脱；双骑初始之夜的主笔编剧为三条陆，写作风格结构严谨、逻辑井然。此剧前面两部分各为负责的脚本家所撰写，最后一部分再同时融合此两位不同风格的脚本家联合写剧本。。
