《全员切腹》是继《狼烟呼唤》《破坏之日》之后，狼苏山三部曲的最终作品。故事讲从武士道等角度出发，探讨人的生存之道。。一名成功的画家，婚姻濒临破碎，自己也对久居巴黎的城市生活深感厌倦。心力交瘁之际他回到了远离巴黎的农村——那里是他度过童年的地方。母亲遗留下来的老房子已经被野生林木包围，于是画家登出启事寻找一位园丁为自己打理花园，顺便种植一些“真正”的蔬菜。巧合的是招聘来的老园丁竟是自己幼时的同学，两位年过半百的老人之间，由此开始了一场温暖而充实的对话……。After thirty years in the big corporation, Ugo Fantozzi retires. Suddenly, he needs things to do in everyday life and he tries a number of activities: helping Pina shopping| babysitting grand-daughter Uga| a trip to Venice| learning golf. He then fakes documents to get a new job, but in the end he becomes a hypochondriac and doesn't even take a long-awaited chance with Miss Sil...。
