八思巴,藏传佛教萨迦派五祖之一,元朝首任总制院院使。抗战时期，华声歌咏队队员梅春丽能戏善歌，只是体质较弱，同志们都劝她回重庆的姐姐家休养一段时间。春丽过桂林时遭遇湘桂撤退沦为难民，投机商人吴警之对她备献殷勤，二人到重庆后征得姐姐同意结为夫妻。婚后吴警之设法断绝了春丽与外界的来往，并在抗战胜利后回到上海，春丽亦复员在家，十分苦闷。姐夫林尔文在上海办了实验农场，与妻子感情融洽，春丽许多昔日的队友也来到农场。春丽再也无法忍受丈夫的专横，于雷雨之逃到农场，恢复了往日的活力。。The comedy plot unfolds around two totally different families: the Drahomanov working in culture and the Nalyvaychenko who are local businessmen.
